20 Businesses Coming Soon to Texas Heritage Marketplace

Less than 7 miles from Cross Creek West, the highly anticipated Texas Heritage Marketplace is taking shape with more tenants confirmed for the 165-acre mixed-use center.

Located at the southeast corner of I-10 and Texas Heritage Parkway—a short drive northeast from Cross Creek West—the Texas Heritage Marketplace broke ground in January 2025 and will be anchored by Target. According to NewQuest Properties, Target is slated to open in October 2026.

According to property details from NewQuest, the developer of the Texas Heritage Marketplace, other recently confirmed tenants include:

- James Avery Artisan Jewelry
- Ulta Beauty
- Burlington
- Academy Sports + Outdoors
- Spec’s Wine, Spirits and Finer Foods
- JoJo Chinese Restaurant
- Austin-based Tony C’s Pizza & Beer Garden
- Lowe’s

NewQuest information also shows a 168,000-square-foot membership-based wholesale club is confirmed for the center. Sams Club—the wholesale store—filed a permit with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in June to begin new construction of a store and fuel station at 29153 Katy Freeway, Katy.

This list of tenants builds on what was announced earlier this year. Additional businesses coming to Texas Heritage Marketplace include:

- America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses
- Milano Nail Spa
- Japanese-inspired Aji Izakaya
- EoS Fitness
- Whataburger
- The Kebab Shop
- Kilwins, a confectionary chain
- Escalantes, a Tex-Mex restaurant

Permits have also been filed for construction to begin in January on a new single-storyChase Bank location with drive-up ATM access at 976 Texas Heritage Parkway, Katy, within Texas Heritage Marketplace.

Beyond shopping and dining, the NewQuest development includes plans for a roughly 50,000-square-foot medical facility and at least 500 multi-family units—such as apartments or townhomes—among two multi-family properties.

A permit has been filed for construction to begin in March on a 54,000-square-foot, three-story Kelsey Seybold Clinic-West Katy at 1553 Heritage Oak Lane, Katy, in the marketplace.

Tenants are slated to begin moving into the marketplace the second half of 2026, offering Cross Creek West residents a nearby community-focused, walkable center with retail, dining, multifamily and medical office options.
